8:23 He prayed: ¹  “O Lord, God of Israel, there is no god like you in heaven above or on earth below! You maintain covenantal loyalty ²  to your servants who obey you with sincerity. ³

8:53 After all, ⁴  you picked them out of all the nations of the earth to be your special possession, ⁵  just as you, O sovereign Lord, announced through your servant Moses when you brought our ancestors out of Egypt.”

20:7 The king of Israel summoned all the leaders ⁶  of the land and said, “Notice how this man is looking for trouble. ⁷  Indeed, he demanded my wives, sons, silver, and gold, and I did not resist him.”
